The Flatmaster is a Positive Input Ventilation unit designed specifically to ventilate homes without lofts. The system delivers filtered air from outside, into the home at a continuous rate, eliminating condensation, dampness and forcing out pollutants such as Radon gas and Carbon Monoxide.
The Flastmaster can be used to ventilate basements, cellars and other areas that would benefit from a continuous supply of fresh, filtered air.
The benefits of using the Flatmaster are:
Cures condensation dampness
Extremely low power consumption – as little as 5 watts
Almost silent operation sound
Significantly improves indoor air quality. Positive input ventilation removes indoor air pollutants such as carbon monoxide and keeps out traffic fumes, pollen and outdoor pollutants.
Can be used for Radon gas control
5 year warranty
Very low maintenance required – filter clean every 1 -2 years
The unit is usually situated in a kitchen, airing cupboard or hallway and is ducted to a central location. The internal air discharge grille is usually installed at high level in a central location within a hallway. Unit performance may be enhanced if an existing heat source can warm the discharge air e.g. locating the discharge grille above a radiator.
